Originated from Kuala Lumpur, N Munirah Rohaizan is a self-taught photographer. Discover photography when she was in Dublin, Munirah gets her inspirations through her fascination towards minimalistic images and architecture. Currently, N. Munirah Rohaizan is based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia as a Project Manager for Kuala Lumpur International Photoaward and Malaysia Country Manager for Srishti Digilife, Singapore.
Munirah has been part of several exhibitions in Kuala Lumpur and a contributor to publication in Berlin and New York.
Munirah was part of several exhibitions, publications and competition such as Metaphorical Garden Photography Exhibition (2011) - organised by Nikon and Goethe Institute Malaysia, Cityscape blog project (2011) - a collaboration project by Goethe Institute branches and was published in 'Kuala Lumpur-Berlin, Kisah Dua Bandaraya, Stadtgeschichten', 'Urban Art' Exhibition (2012) - exhibited in Pelita Hati Gallery, Kuala Lumpur, an exhibition on documenting urban living, 'Word n Pics' Exhibition (2012) - won second place in a photography competition organised by Alliance Francaise and the France Embassy, Kuala Lumpur, 'Exposure' (2012) - was published by SeeMe, New York, in their publication 'Exposure', 'Exposure+ Final Debut' Exhibition (2013) - part of a mentoring programme and was exhibited in Galeri Petronas, Kuala Lumpur.
